澳洲朋友~

thursday, i met a new friend, marty, who 17 years old comes from australia. he is a presenter of a online magazine, this time comes to hong kong in order to find some interesting stories about hong kong for filming vedios that can show it to the world. of course, i talked to him in english but haha~ i met marty at 10:00 that morning in 尖沙咀, i sugguested to visit the monkey's hill and the blockhouses. but he had had his plan already. he decided to go to lantau island visiting the tin tain buddha, so i followed his idea to do taking him to the buddha by train and then bus. but firstly, he had to buy tapes for his vedio camera. yes not a digital one. it made me strange, not just this, he only got a few hundred dollars on hand, but he is staying in hotel mira, 2,000 for one night. afterwards we arrived the destination and started finding people to do interviews. foreign tourists were very nice and happy to have interviews. in contract, chinese were not to be willing to do so. after finished all interviews we needed and going to leave there, he suddenly discovered that all our works we had just done were in vain because he had forgot turning the mic on before did interviews. other than this, the battery was run out too. we found a souvenir store there for recharging the battery and we only can be awaiting that nothing we have to do. so as to doing something, i take him to visit "wisdom path 心經簡林" just nearby. but he did not satisfy about this and suggusting to reach the lantau peak. owing to having the same route next month, i refused but encourage him to do so, he took off all the things he wore excpet underwear and then set off. i had waited for him for an hour after he really reached the peak then he went back. next we got back the battery and redo the interviews until the buddha was closed at 18:00. finally, he filmed me a brief introduction appreciating today's help. he got on the bus and i said goodbye to him while the sun was going to be set. it became darken and the temperature had a sharp drop. when i was waiting for the bus at the bus stop under buddha, i felt a bit cold and felt lonely too.
